We provide a warm and friendly home from home environment where babies can explore the environment supported by our caring and experienced nursery practitioners. Our practitioners work closely with you as parents and carers at initial settling in sessions to arrange babies’ daily routines to ensure continuity of care, and continue to uphold detailed exchanges of conversation with parents on a daily basis throughout your child’s care at Le Monde Petit.
The babies have the opportunity for lots of outdoor experiences – they spend time daily in our Nursery gardens, and practitioners regularly take them for walks in the local environment in our triple buggies.
Daily diaries are completed to inform parents of meals provided, nappy changes and sleep times and to provide you with a written account of your child’s day at nursery. We also keep a Learning Journey file on e-tablets for each baby to record through photographs and videos the progress, development and achievements your baby makes at nursery.
Nursery Deputy Manager / Room Leader in Home from Home & Little Discoverers
I have over 11 years of experience working in childcare and I am happy to say that 10 of these have been at Le Monde Petit. I came here shortly after qualifying as a Level 3 and I have worked my way up to my role now of Deputy Manager and Room Leader in Home from Home caring for our smallest of babies. I am also Room Leader in Little Discoverers. I am currently studying for my Level 5 in Children, Young People & Their Workforce which I am hoping to complete shortly.
Nursery Practitioner in Home from Home
I am a qualified and experienced Level 3 Childcare Practitioner with over 3 years of experience working in another nursery before joining the Le Monde Petit team in 2014. I am also experienced and qualified in Business and Administration. I look after the little babies in our Home from Home room and love reading stories to them.
