Elise Vanden

Nursery Manager

I qualified with a BTEC ND in childhood studies in 1999 and also hold a BA (HONS) in Early Years Leadership and Early Years Professional Status (EYPS). I have over 10 years’ experience as a Nursery Manager and my own little boy Henry attends Le Monde Petit.  I have worked for the company for over 15 years and am very proud to be part of such a dedicated team who all work hard to ensure we provide the best possible care and education for all our children.

Gemma Vickers

Nursery Deputy Manager
Room Leader in Home from Home

I have over 11 years of experience working in childcare and I am happy to say that 10 of these have been at Le Monde Petit.  I came here shortly after qualifying as a Level 3 and I have worked my way up to my role now of Deputy Manager and Room Leader in Home from Home and Little Discoverers caring for babies. I am currently studying for my Level 5 in Children, Young People & Their Workforce which I am hoping to complete shortly.

Jennie Bracewell

Managing Director

I hold an NNEB Level 5 and an NVQ Level 5 in Management. I have over 20 years’ experience in childcare with over 15 years in a management position, and I have been with this company since its conception in 1991 working my way up from Early Years Educator, to Nursery Manager, to the position today which I have held for over 10 years. During my time here I have gained a wealth of experience within the industry, enabling me to be an excellent mentor to every member of staff no matter what position they may be.

Peter Hindle

Chairman/Business Owner

I created and opened Le Monde Petit Nursery in May of 1991.  I visit the business regularly to chat to all the staff and see how nursery is running, all the children always say hello to me which is lovely.   My partner Linda is a fantastic Landscape Gardener and helps to design and create the fantastic outdoor spaces for the children to explore.

Sarah Brown

Nursery Practitioner & Chef

I work at Le Monde Petit during term time so I can spend time with my two sons during the school holidays. I have spent time as a care volunteer in the past, I am passionate about helping children to learn and develop new skills and am currently studying towards my Level 3 in childcare.  I love creating the delicious nursery lunches every day in the nursery kitchen, making all the healthy meals from fresh using the best of local produce.

Karen Sutherland

Nursery Housekeeper

I joined the Le Monde Petit team in 2006 as Nursery Housekeeper, I keep the whole nursery looking spick and span.  I have a grandson Charlie and a granddaughter Poppy who I look after regularly and I love bringing this experience to nursery when I help out with the children in the rooms, they really enjoy it when I read them stories.

Donna Kelsall

Office Manager

I have been with Le Monde Petit since 2009 following many years of marketing and administration experience. I have a HND in Business & Finance and I carry out all the administration work for the nursery including processing payments, organising free entitlement, customer service, social media and sales & marketing. I’m always happy to answer any questions customers may have about payments, childcare vouchers or eligibility for free childcare.

Gareth Jamieson

Buildings Maintenance Manager

I carry out all the building maintenance tasks required in nursery.  I have over 10 years of experience in the construction industry and you might see me around fixing and construction things to enhance the nursery.
